Question!!! How are you able to walk Barefoot in your garden in July?? I am burning my feet when I try right now in Texas and I have woodchips throughout my grocery row garden.
I would love to see an update!
For what climate?
Looking for an update 😊
I love it😊
Not specific to this video, but the channel in general. Would the problem of aminopyralid persistence apply to manure from corn fed hogs?
I do not think so. I have not heard of it in corn.
Nice realxing informative videos Could we collest seeds
I done did got duh book. Me read now.
I hate the idea of spraying, but i woke up to some pickleworms on my squash and zuchinni , they almost destroyed my beautiful plants in 1 day , so i went and got some Spinosad and my plants are super happy again and bug free and i was about to give up on squahes lol Soooo glad i bought some insecticide Most videos and reddit suggest everyrhing under the sun but i found a tiny florida based youtube channel that suggested spinosad and im soo happy i found that suggestion, BT is WAY too slow imo in florida the moths will lay hundreds of eggs overnight
How much of the cassava plant do I need to leave behind for it to possibly grow back next year? Im also in 8b. Just caught the wild rabbits eating all my ground level sweet potatoes. Going to put out a trap now. GL with yours.
Mine is starting to smell like rotten eggs.. even though it is crystal clear. I've been told that it is normal
Let me turn you onto a cool little secret 😁.... If you take the dried pits and crack them open, there's two very small pieces of coconut 🥥 inside that seed .... Actually when they are dry they are a mini version of a coconut 🥥 And I mean perfectly.... Even the tiny soft dark spots / eyes at the top of the pit. Try this and show it on here, I'd love to see you do a clip of you breaking open the puts for the coconut 🥥.... With a close shot of how the pit, truly is a miniature coconut 🥥 😊
Those are PALM DATES .... We used to ride around on our bicycle 🚲 in the 60s and 70s and pick these to eat 👍🏻 pick them early for a sour bite pick them later for a sweet one !!! Nature's sweet tart candy 🎉🎉🎉....
❤ the garden.
Is there a part 2? Did this work?
Came for some topic, stayed for your spiritually sound attitude. And now I'm not regretting it when I lol'd at your massive finished collection of 2023 readings. I need to set down the RUclips and pick back up my books by the saints!
Those readings converted me to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church! Thank you.
Where did you buy the rose hip plant because I’ve been looking for it and I can’t find any no where. I live in Central Florida
Burnt Ridge Nursery, online.
I put whole plants in a box to sun dry. Then knead to extract the seeds.
These companies are sellimg us straight poison in a bag and then they call us crazy for growing our own organic food, preserving and storing it
I live in Pensacola area and last summer our rattlesnake beans were going crazy in July which was amazing until a naughty rabbit ate all of them one night 😭
Why you stop smoking cigars?
I'm looking forward to my rosehips! got the plant from you at the HomesteadHer conference in May!
Awesome. That was a great event.
How are you managing the heat? I’m in NWFL zone 8a and this dry heat is too much for me for long hours and I have heavy undercarriage around my property and garden. I need the humidity back 😅
It's rough. We get a little work done in mornings and evenings.
If you mow, make sure your "exhaust" sprays the grass where you want mulch.
How to convert male banana plant into female plant
Have you tried feeding it soy milk and plopping it in front of the TV to watch CNN?
"China wishes it had this Cassava". I literally fell off my chair laughing David! Keep up the good work! We appreciate you.
For the real secret you need to research the south American tribes who still keep the dead inside of almost completely buried and sealed earthen pots that have no bottom...and also watch a body farm video like what they use for forensic science and see what living mammals turn into...thats the real black earth Terra preata.
When you spend life eating from the land, the best thing for the land is for all your natural waste and rot to go back to it..
I need this, but in Zone 10b/11 😅 (and yes, I do have your book!)
That climate is even easier than here. You can grow so much!
@@davidthegood we are having a lot of issues with nematodes! Seems to be getting worse every year. Fruit trees, sweet potatoes and bananas do fine, but perennials are a hit or miss (and the ones that are a hit my folks don’t eat). Any recommendations for cucumbers here? I can grow them in a pot away from the nematodes, but they always get the mildew… thank you 🙏🏼
rabbits love sweet potato slips
What is the main plants herbs? Fruit, veggies?
All of the above. Berries, roots, etc. Lots of young fruit trees. Cassava.
Dave Growl... my guy!
I like that you don't necessarily need the banana in your garden, but " I like it". My motto!!
A zone 6b bananas could produce fresh leaves for tamales!
Are you saying Canas? What kind? Can they be used for duck food?
Canna musifolia. I don't know if ducks would eat them or not.
So awesome David and your beautiful lady Rachel! A lot of hard work!!
Barefoot but wearing full length jeans in summer is wild sir
Protect this man at all costs!
There is another lesson that ties into this lesson that I’m gonna lesson you about…. This lesson 😊
👏👍😊💕💕
❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
30:54 what is this thing?? (Is it a lime buggy)
Do you think it's easier to grow in 8B or 9A in Florida or should I even worry about that when selecting where to move there?
Plants grow everywhere. Find the area you like then toss seeds and see what grows 🙂
But your soil is important in Florida. If you move to a pine ares with patchy white or yellow sand, you will have a hard time.
“Just eat it.” 😂 11:58
